Australia, one of the countries with the greatest variety of ethnic groups in the world, lies in the most important economic area of the world – the Asia Pacific area; especially it has a close economic and political relationship with this area. It is 08 hours away from Vietnam via airplane. The weather of Australia is identical to that of Asia, so they don’t have to face cold winters in other areas in the North of the earth.

Australian are always open-minded and friendly to tourists. Pure and safe environment and busy international cities make Australia an ideal place for students and tourists to visit and discover.

In Australia, school fee and living expenses are not so expensive as those in other English-speaking countries such as America, England and Canada.

Climate:

Australia is one of the continents with the driest climate in the world. Northern area has a tropical and dry climate, the southern climate is temperate. Average temperature is about 270C (in the north) and 130C (in the south).

Transportation:

There are many types of transportation in Australia.

In Melbourne, you can travel by trains, trams or buses.

Main public transportations in Sydney are Sydney buses, Sydney ferries and city rails. Travel pass tickets allow you to use different means of transportation with some conditions.

Culture:

Australia continues to inherit benefits of the pluralism culture - one of the most diversified cultures in the world-with new ideas, dishes and lifestyles. According to the recent census, 23 % of Australia’s population was born overseas and more 40% of its population has the mixed cultural origin. Each 04 minutes 08 seconds Australia welcomes a new emigrant.

Many overseas-born people have Italian and Greek origins in Post World War II Migrant. However, people of recent migrant series mainly have been from New Zealand, United Kingdom, China, Vietnam, Africa, India and others. Aproximately 2.2% of Australian people recognised from the original of Aborigines. The majority of these sectors live in the northern Australia. Other Indigenous people of Australia, Torres Strait Islander community, have the background from Malanesian living in the northern Queensland and Torres Strait Islands between Cape York and Papua New Guinea.

Living expense:

Australia is one of countries with the highest standards of living in the world but its living costs are rather low. The average international student in Australia spends about $360AUD per week on accommodation, food, entertainment, transport, telephone, and incidental costs.
