How to distinguish types of scholarship

I. There are some types of scholarship:

1. Full scholarship:

Most of us think that full scholarship is 100% tution. It is not true as in addition to 100% tution supported, students will be funded living expenses such as accommodation, food, health insurance.

It’s very diificult to achieve full scholarship and  very competitive. Only very excellent students can obtain this.

2. Partial scholarship:

This is a type of scholarship that the school gives you 100% tution, a partial tuition or a fixed amount of money and you have to pay the rest of tuition fee. This is applied for a course or some semesters, some months or a very short course,..

II. Scholarship providers:

• Scholarship provided by social, economic, political orgranizations sich as Eramus scholarship of EU, scholarship of the World Bank, scholarship of EU,…
• Governmental organizations: AUS AID (Australia), Mext (Japan), BK21 (Korea), Singa (Sing), Fulbright và VFF(America), NFP (Holland), Eiffel (France), 911 (Vietnam) …
• Scholarship provided by schools
• Scholarship provided by individuals or by leading persons of companies

III. Scholarship is applied for below sectors:

• High school program
• Bachelor degree courses
• Master degree courses
• Doctorate degree courses
